HOME HOW TO ORDER ORDER FORM HOW BRASS RUBBINGS ARE MADE

Brass Rubbing began as a hobby for me back in 1975, when I lived in England for a year. My "Misssion" was going from cathedral to cathedral rubbing every brass in sight. Needless to say I brought home quite a collection of rubbings all rolled up neatly in cardboard tubes.

After I married my wonderful husband Les in 1985, he became interested in the rubbings and one by one they started to come out of their safe storage and up onto our walls.

Our next step was to purchase some replica brasses from London and then we were in business.

Twenty years later we still consider it a hobby because we never lose our fascination with Medieval Times.

Each rubbing is hand made with care and then mailed to you in a cardboard mailing tube. Enclosed is a history of the person in the rubbing.

Unfortunately for us, the time has come when we have to sell our business.  It would include numerous framed brass rubbings, including the priest on the left, brass replicas of knights and ladies, supplies to get started, literature on the subject, and the domain name britishbrassrubbings.com with the web site as is but excluding this page. Please e-mail if you are interested in more details.  info@britishbrassrubbings.com
